Seahawk Charters specialise in almost every type of recreational fishing. We target snapper, kingfish, trevally, terakihi and kahawai. Also john dory, gurnard, blue cod and the odd crayfish are often hooked by our anglers. Whether it is within the Waitemata Harbour, Rangitoto or Motuihe Channels, the deep waters of the Hauraki Gulf or reef fishing for kingfish Seahawk can cater for your requirements. Fishing charters are what we do best and along with our corporate clients and fishing clubs we also cater for social clubs, small groups, mates and individuals.
Our day charters are normally from 6.30am to 3pm or a shorter half day trip (limited availability) arriving back at 12.30pm.
During daylight savings (October to end March) we specialise in our very popular twilight charters that depart at 4.30pm and return by 9.45pm. Christmas functions, birthdays, stag & hen fishing, team building and individuals having fun are the order of the day when it comes to twilight fishing. Seahawk has a BBQ on board that is available free of charge for use by groups of 10 or more on day charters. Food and refreshments are generally BYO but we have an option provide on day charters a fully catered monster luncheon BBQ for $30pp and also an Auntie Annettes homemade bacon & egg breakfast muffin for $10pp. Twilights we suggest either BYO or we can organise pizzas delivered just prior to departure.
